Headshot of Denise Mejlszenkier

Denise is accustomed to winning. In Wilton v. Handwerger, Denise was on the trial team that defended the rights of an elderly Mill Valley woman who was being taken advantage of by an aggressive developer who moved next door. Denise prepared the case for trial and, through preparation, tenacity and attention to detail, helped bring a favorable jury verdict for her and Greg's client.

Denise has been fortunate to have litigated a wide variety of disputes. At Wood Litigation, APC, Denise has handled complex insurance coverage, construction defect, real estate, products, premises liability and professional liability matters. Prior to working at WLAPC, Denise was asked to serve as a special prosecutor with the California District Attorneys’ Association, where she prosecuted high crimes in rural courts. Denise also led the litigation department of an Oakland firm, before becoming an invaluable member of the WLAPC litigation and trial team.

Denise enjoys the complexity and high-profile nature of WLAPC cases. Denise shares Greg and her other teammates' passion for providing top level client service, and for overtaking an opponent for the client's benefit.

Denise is also excited to be a part of the firm's workplace harassment prosecution team and is passionate about helping victims of sexual harassment and enforcing gender rights generally.
